The sampling and assessment of underground monitoring wells in Keelung City in 2003

The works of this project include undertaking of sampling and analysis in 11 underground monitoring wells and wells washing and maintenance. The analysis records show that NH3, Fe and Mn are all beyond the levels set by EPA in Taiwan. Since the accident of oil spill we found a lots of V.O.C. and saturated carbohydrate in underground water in the Lu-Du industry park site. We suggest the V.O.C. and saturated carbohydrate must be monitored in all investigation sites in further works.
